There was a scorpion that walked down to the river one day and wanted to get to the other side. He found a frog there and inquired if the frog might give him a lift to the other side. The frog said "impossible. You'll sting me and I'll die and drown". The scorpion said "that is silly. Why would I sting you and you drown? I'd drown with you". The frog thought . . .that sounded reasonable.
So the scorpion climbed on and the frog began to swim. When he got about to the middle of the river, the scorpion uncurled his stinger and plunged it into the frog's back. The poison acted quickly in small frog and he began to gasp for air and started to sink with the scorpion on his back. As he was going down he said "why did you do this? you said you wouldn't sting me. Now we'll both drown."
And the scorpion just replied as they were going under "I know I said that, but it's just my nature".
Consider someone's nature. It never changes. If you want to be near a Scorpion, you must decide if you are big enough to not let the poison kill you. You will ALWAYS get stung now and then. They can't help it. It's just their nature.
